| Hi Everybody, So we often get asked by people what does this “you should meet” thing do for me? That’s an interesting question, but it’s the wrong question. Using You Should Meet is not really about you – it’s about the people you are helping. Networking has unfortunately become a game of business card (or the dreaded V-Card) collecting, with no real effort to make that network be a living breathing thing that helps people get to where they want to be. Your network only has value when you connect the people in that network. It’s just like the internet. If only one person has a connection to the internet it’s useless, but every time someone else gets added the usefulness multiplies. You Should Meet is about connecting the dots in your world of contacts. It helps you put the people in your contact list together with each other in seconds and then keeps a record of who has been introduced. If you are in sales or business development this tool is invaluable. Even if you are just a person who likes to keep friends in touch with each other, this makes it fun and easy. It all started when we figured we were doing this anyway we just needed a way to keep track of it all. The product itself was created by the folks at Fresh Tilled Soil (Alex, Dave and Richard) and Bob Allard & his team and, of course, the super-energetic Bobby Glazer. We’re a privately-held Boston-based company that enjoys building simple-to-use products that solve a real problem. We do not build software for the sake of technology. All our products have a real world pain that they are solving. Our products, like Full Control, and the soon to be released, Referral Monitor, answer the most frustrating tasks in our life with simple answers. You Should Meet is no exception. There is no need for complicated applications to manage already complicated tasks. Our goal is to reduce the level of complexity in each product and in each step involved in using that product. We have decided to focus our attention on small businesses and individuals we know that companies and organizations of all sizes have used our products. The best part of using something simple (think about Google) is that it’s hard to go back to using anything more complicated to achieve the same results. We hope you have fun checking out our projects. We also hope you’ll check out our blog and link to the interesting people working with us that deserve your attention. Have a brilliant day!
